  <title>Iniciar aplicacións</title>

  <p if:test="!platform:gnome-classic">Mova o punteiro do seu rato á esquina de <gui>Actividades</gui> na parte superior esquerda da pantalla para mostrar a <gui>Vista de actividades</gui>. Aquí é onde pode atopar todos as súas aplicacións. Tamén pode abrir a vista premendo a tecla <link xref="keyboard-key-supper">Super</link>.</p>
  
  <p if:test="platform:gnome-classic">Pode iniciar aplicacións desde o <link xref="shell-terminology">menú de <gui>Aplicacións</gui></link> na parte esquerda da pantalla ou pode usar a <gui>vista de actividades</gui> premendo a tecla <key xref="keyboard-key-super">Super</key>.</p>

  <p>Hai distintas maneiras de abrir unha aplicación se xa está na <gui>vista de actividades</gui>:</p>

      <p>Comece a escribir o nome da aplicación — a busca comezará ao instante. Se isto non acontece, prema na barra de busca na parte superior da pantalla e comece a escribir. Se non sae o nome exacto da aplicación, probe a escribir un termo relacionado. Prema na icona da aplicación para inicialo.</p>

      <p>Some applications have icons in the <em>dash</em>, the horizontal strip
      of icons at the bottom of the <gui>Activities</gui> overview.
      Click one of these to start the corresponding application.</p>
      <p>Se ten aplicacións que usa moi frecuentemente, pode <link xref="shell-apps-favorites">engadilas ao taboleiro</link>.</p>

      <p>Click the grid button (which has nine dots) in the dash.
      You will see the first page of all installed applications. To see more
      applications, press the dots at the bottom, above the dash, to view other
      applications. Press on the application to start it.</p>

      <p>You can launch an application in a separate
      <link xref="shell-workspaces">workspace</link> by dragging its icon from
      the dash, and dropping it onto one of the workspaces. The application will
      open in the chosen workspace.</p>
      <p>You can launch an application in a <em>new</em> workspace by dragging its
      icon to an empty workspace, or to the small gap between two workspaces.</p>

    <title>Executar unha orde rapidamente</title>
    <p>Outra forma de iniciar unha aplicación é premer <keyseq><key>Alt</key><key>F2</key></keyseq>, escribir o seu <em>nome de orde</em>, e logo prema <key>Intro</key>.</p>
    <p>Por exemplo, para iniciar <app>Rhythmbox</app>, prema <keyseq><key>Alt</key><key>F2</key></keyseq> e escriba «<cmd>rhythmbox</cmd>» (sen as comiñas). O nome da aplicación é a orde para iniciar o programa.</p>
    <p>Use as teclas de frecha para acceder de forma rápida ás ordes executadas anteriormente.</p>
