<title>Het draadloze netwerk uitschakelen (vliegtuig-modus)</title>

<p>Als u zich met uw computer in een vliegtuig bevindt (of een andere plek waar u geen draadloze verbinding mag hebben), dan dient u het draadloze netwerk uit te schakelen. Of misschien wilt u uw draadloze netwerk uitschakelen om een andere reden (bijvoorbeeld om energie te besparen).</p>

    <p>Using <em>Airplane Mode</em> will completely turn off all wireless
    connections, including Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth connections.</p>

  <p>Vliegtuigstand inschakelen:</p>

    <item>
      <p>Open the <gui xref="shell-introduction#activities">Activities</gui> overview and
      start typing <gui>Wi-Fi</gui>.</p>
    </item>
    <item>
      <p>Click on <gui>Wi-Fi</gui> to open the panel.</p>
    </item>
    <item>
      <p>Switch the <gui>Airplane Mode</gui> switch to on. This will turn off
      your wireless connection until you disable airplane mode again.</p>

    <p>You can turn off your Wi-Fi connection from the
    <gui xref="shell-introduction#systemmenu">system menu</gui> by clicking on 
    the connection name and choosing <gui>Turn Off</gui>.</p>
